Hello Sydney!!! Please be nice to me ~ ♡

As I've ever mentioned before that in the very short time I'd be going to study abroad. And here I am now.. in one of world's most expensive city, pursuing my master study at Macquire University, North Ryde, Sidney, Australia. It was a little bit out of my expectation actually, I've been dreaming since long time ago to study in Germany or UK. But since Australia offers more opportunities and chances to have successful career, I decided to make it my first choice. You know, somehow things do not always work out the way we want them to be. And sometimes we have to let go what we have planned to be able to let in the better ones. Wisely said :).

Today is my third day here in Sydney, but I still can't believe on how everything is so goddamn expensive? I lived in Europe before and I was shocked by its high currency value. But here is worse. I was triple shocked!! It just doesn't make any sense for me. I really need to find a part time Job soon!

Well, Aside from that, there are lot of things I like here; the weather, the clear blue sky, big empty road, lovely neighbourhood and beautiful views. What a life!

These are pictures of Heering Road. I always pass this street every time I walk to the university.

This is the neighbourhood where I live in now..

And last but not least my university. If you're curious to see what Macquire University looks like, Here are some pictures of it. But since it's too big and I could easily get lost, I wasn't able to capture all parts of it.

Well.. I hope those  pictures can show you a  glimpse of my new life in Sydney.    Wait for more  interesting pictures and stories from me.    ^^

First Date Outfit: What to Wear on first date? ♡

Still remember your first date with someone? how was it? was it ended well? or bad? I think and some of you might agree as well that there are several factors to make a first date successful; the place (where to go), the talks (what(what to talk about and what not to talk about and of course, the outfit (what do I have to wear).
"outfit? how come? then he doesn't love me for the way I am?"
Well, don't be shallow girls ;)! It may seem shallow indeed, but how you dress on a first date is actually pretty important. The reality is, if your date isn't into the way you look, you might not get the chance to get beyond initial attractions to show how truly great and loveable you are. So, make sure you present yourself in the best light, so that he can see you shine :).
I am not the expert of first dating, but this kind of outfit is the best one I could imagine if I am going on date with someone for the first time. I always in love with a cute concept. You know that right? But, if you're still don't have the confidence on how to dress up, perhaps because you haven't been on a date before,  here are some tips for you; ^^

Tip #1
The most important tip I can offer women is to wear a dress or skirt on a firs-date. For many of us, it's become almost awkward to put these on for an everyday occasion because we might feel like we're "too dressed up."  But through a man's eyes, a dress or skirt shows off our sexy and feminine side. Don't believe me? Try wearing a dress the next time you go out at night. You will notice a big difference in the reactions you get from men.
Tip #2
Wear a pair of heels (at least 5cm). Heels flatter your lower half and it's something your date will definitely notice. Make sure to find a pair that are comfortable to walk in, preferably with an open toe and a slight platform for the perfect effect.
Tip #3
Choose color! Do not wear all black! Pastels will do a lot for your feminine look. Turquoise, pink, lilac and coral seem to be particular favourites for many men, but choose a color that looks best with your complexion.
Tip #4
Men could care less about labels. In fact, if you're dripping head to toe in Prada or Gucci, it's likely to even be a turn-off. Your body is not a hanger to display high fashion, and the only clothes you should be concerned with wearing are the ones that show off your best features.
Tip #5
Revealing clothing is also a bad idea on a first date. Avoid anything too low cut, such as; extreme mini skirts, and tight short pants and things like that. You want to make a good impression, and if your outfit's too revealing, it's going to send out the wrong messages. Instead, show more your personality :).

While it's not an exact science, there are some ways you can dress to impress on a first date. Because however, It does count! Remember, the first leads to the rest ;).

Love, Natya

♥ ♥ ♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥ ♥ ♥

I’ve had lots of requests for my everyday natural make-up look. I do different looks depending on what I’m doing and only apply heavy make-up for my dance performance and blog photo shoots, other than that I always prefer natural make-up. And today... With the joy of valentine's day, I dec ided to do a Valentine's day tutorial with a step by step pictures. ^^

1. Apply CC cream to all over the face. The idea behind this new cream was to provide foundation with high coverage, yet not taking away the beautiful natural glow of the skin. It will  make your skin look beautiful and glowing in any lighting circumstance while concealing your flaws. It's also moisturising and long lasting. All these reasons somehow make love CC cream more than BB cream.
2. Get your eyebrows right! Draw your eyebrow with a drawing eyebrow pencil in light brown color.

3. Apply a deep brown eyeshadow all over your lid with a flat eyeshadow brush. It can be of any finish that you like; matte, satin, shimmer.

3. Curl your eyelashes and apply loads of mascara if you don't want to wear fake eyelashes.
 4. Next, tightline your eyes by applying white shimmer on lower waterline
 5.  line your upper eyelid with black liquid eyeliner. You can play around with the thickness of the line to create a different feel.
 6. Put blush on to make your beautiful face glow and look alive naturally.
 7. Pink cheeks will match the pink lips. So, I chose this one from etude house because it moisturises the lips, so it easily blends my lip color. The packaging is super cute as well, See?

Voila! It's done! Here's my valentine look
 and don't forget the outfits..
Now, you're ready to go for a date!!! or anywhere with your loved ones. And, since it's valentine day, wear cuter outfits or more pink would not be a crime, right?

Thanks for reading my first tutorial make up on this blog. I didn't know before that making make-up tutorial would be so much fun. Hope you find this helpful. See you and Happy Valentine's day! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Time for A picnic! yeay :D

I couldn't remember when was the last time I had a picnic with my family. Was it on my junior high school? senior high school? whenever it was, it was definitely a long long time ago.  But yesterday, after a few years, we spent our weekend in Bedugul. Bedugul is a famous destination in Bali for family to have a relaxation together, or just to do sight-seing, enjoying beautiful views while breathing fresh-cold air.

What I like about Bedugul is that once you go there, you can visit some good places at the same time, because one object is pretty close to another. In my case, we went to Danau Beratan first, and then moved to Kebun Raya Bedugul, and last, we went to cafe tahu.

the pretty danau beratan... still pretty in rainy season

Kebun Raya Bedugul..
The wacky road to get through..

I would like to introduce you one of the most favoured restaurant by Bedugul visitors, Cafe Tahu. All the menus served there are specially made by tofu. I was curious and doubt it at first, because tofu for me is not that tasty and how they're going to make many variations of it. But I was wrong.

tuna steak tofu..

tofu with eggs..
rujak tofu..
tahu gendot..
martabak tofu..

tahu gejrot..

I was amazed by the taste. They didn't seem like they were made by tofu. Especially the tuna steak and martabak tofu, as their taste were so original. No wonder by the time we came (around 6pm), not many foods were still available because many people had their lunch in the afternoon there on weekend. Sure I'll comeback next time and try other different menus here. :D

Oh, i almost forgot to describe my OOTD on that day..
As the weather was cool, these are my chosen pieces: black turtle neck with a piece of wool cardigan + velvet flare skirt + +  sneakers wedges and a cute cat-ear beanie. Black, white and mustard looks good together, doesn't it?

Well, I had so much fun that day. Thanks to mom and dad for taking me there. Looking forward to having another family picnic. therefore, until then, stay healthy Mom & Dad. Anyway, don't forget to visit Bedugul if you come to Bali. Other than beaches, It's a great place for tourist as well. Trust me :)
